The "Shows Heating Up" Collection is populated and ranked based upon the positive change in the shows' Demand Rank within the current time period.

For example, if the time period is set to "Last 24 Hours" then you will see a collection of TV shows that had the highest increase in demand over the last 24 hours. 

If the time period is set to "Last 30 Days" then you will see the TV shows that have increased in demand the most over the last 30 days.

How much a show has improved its Demand Rank will determine its position within the collection.
