Tips for using Plexie to build an analysis

  • Be specific: Use phrases like “filter by” for targeted results.

  • Check your analysis type: Some analyses offer genre and platform portfolios, while others allow individual title selection.

  • Set market & time range: Avoid default settings by specifying your desired parameters.

  • For broad business questions: Use Plexie’s Home Page to find the right analysis. Click the Plexie Orb icon in the top right for quick access.

Avoid:

  • Unsupported functions: Searching for specific titles on Demand vs Supply & Demand Share analysis.

  • Unavailable filters: Querying filters that are not available on your subscription.

  • Open questions on analysis pages: Plexie works best with specific terms related to genres, analysis types, TV shows and movies. Broad questions can reduce accuracy.

Example

Instead of asking: "what max shows do millennials watch"

Try asking: "What shows are millennials watching on the Max Platform"

Specifying that the term “max” means platform helps Plexie with creating the right analysis using the correct filters and parameters.

✋ Currently not supported on Plexie:

  • Compare Audience Analysis

  • Distribution & Production Company Filters

  • Leaderboard Sorting & Column Customization

  • Custom Regions & Custom Portfolios

  • Custom Time Intervals

  • Peak & Average Demand Controls

  • Supply Filter (Demand vs. Supply)
