DEMAND360 Enterprise was built to provide self-serve access to content demand data and analytics on a global scale. In order to access this information and gather actionable insights, you must understand how to use the "Analyze" section of the product.

When using any of the modules within Analyze (Compare, Demand Distribution, Market Share, and Demand vs Supply) you must make a selection of which content you want to analyze. This article walks you through these steps.

The following instructions provide definitions and use cases for the content filters you can utilize when deciding which shows you'd like to compare.

Content Filter Definitions

  • "By OTT Platform Avails" filters content that is available only on OTT (over-the-top also known as streaming) platforms.

    • Use this filter to narrow down your selection to view shows ONLY available on streaming platforms.

  • "By Original Network" filters content that was originally aired on networks AND OTT platforms.

    • Use this filter to narrow down your selection to view shows that originally aired on broadcast networks as well as streaming platforms.

  • "By Genres" filters content by main genre. There are more than 75 genres to choose from.

  • "By Country of Origin" filters content by the country where it was originally produced.

    • Use this filter to view shows from a specific country in order to view the demand for those shows in and outside of their home market.

  • "By Release Type" filters shows based on their original production type. There are two options: Digital Original and Network. We define a Digital Original as a multi-episode series where the most recent season was produced or first made available on a streaming platform. Network refers to shows originally created and currently airing only on broadcast networks.

  • "By Number of Seasons" filters shows based on the number of seasons they have.

Inquiry 1: You want to determine the demand for shows from the audiences of the country they originated from. For example, what is the demand for Spanish shows with Spanish audiences?
