You can find the Analysis Builder across all Analyze Modules - it helps you answer your business questions by selecting your desired parameters for analysis.

In this article we'll cover

πŸ’‘ Understanding the Analysis Builder

The first thing to understand about the Analysis Builder is that there are two layers to your analysis.

Default Settings

1️⃣ - First row - define whether you want to analyze individual titles or portfolios - the default has All Content (individual titles) selected.

2️⃣ - Second row - add additional filters - the default has Last 30 Days Release Date selected.

Building an Analysis

1️⃣ Firstly, define the universe of individual titles and/or portfolios (title groupings) that you want to analyze.

You can select one or more of the following options:

CONTENT - select all titles, TV shows only, movies only or individual titles.

GENRES - select all or individual genres which are pre-set Live Portfolios - best if you want to analyze genres as groupings.

PLATFORMS - select all or individual platforms which are pre-set Live Portfolios. You can select either all titles, TV shows only or movies only. For TV shows you can also select either the full, original or licensed catalog.

CUSTOM PORTFOLIOS - select one or multiple custom portfolios. Custom portfolios can be created by you and your team.

Note: Don't forget to clear the default CONTENT selection if you want to look at portfolios only.

2️⃣ Secondly, layer additional filters on top of your selection. Once you've defined whether you want to analyze individual titles or portfolios you can further filter down your selection by genre, platform, release date and more.

You can select none, one or multiple of the following filters:

GENRES - Filter by one or multiple genres and specify AND, OR and EXCLUDE conditions, for example only show Action or Adventure titles, excluding Children.

PLATFORM AVAILS - Filter by the platform availability market, for example only analyze titles that are available on Netflix Brazil.

RELEASE DATE - Analyze titles that were released in a specific time period or that are going to be released, for example view the demand of titles that are going to be released within the next 90 days.

TALENT (CAST) - View the content portfolio of a specific talent (as an actor or behind the camera). For example, see all shows and movies that Adam Sandler has acted in.

You can also choose from a range of other filters to add.

Note: Don't forget to set the Market and Time Period for your analysis. The Market will automatically match any platform availability markets you have selected in the Analysis Builder.

πŸ”— Sharing Your Analysis

It's very easy to share an analysis with preset market, date and filter selections. Simply click the Share button and copy the link to send to your DEMAND360 team members.

Logged-in users will be able to view the same analysis with all filters and selections applied.

For example, share an analysis showing "popular non-english children's shows in the US".
